I might judge parliamentary debate (who names a type of debate after a flock of owls?) next year for tournaments that don't have policy to lower my teams costs and I will be a junior. I was thinking something along the lines of use song names from this genre in your speech. Thanks.
Don’t make your judge paradigm funny. That’s stupid and not helpful at all. If you’ve ever done prefs for a national tournament and had to read 1,000 philosophies it’s a pain in the ass and you want to know if they’re good for you as quickly as possible.
EDIT: Now that I think about it. When I was doing prefs for Wake somebody mentioned that they did way too much acid in college and shouldn’t be judging debate. That was both funny and helpful for letting me know that they should be prefed low
